Starting this month, Prague is among one of the few cities with an absolutely unique restaurant concept.
In the restaurant Pod křídlem noci one can eat in the dark.

Deník 24 hodin - June 5,  2008: ¨

Place: only few steps from Národní třída to Voršilská street
Selection: From the moment you step in, a film starts – partially realistic, partially imaginary. The main hall is pitch black. No problem, if you know where the salad is located on the table and what a usual portion of meat looks like.

Metro – May 29, 2008:
Until now, eating in absolute darkness was tried by people in London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow and Beijing. Since yesterday, people of Prague can also enjoy meals in the restaurant where darkness is served. Prague – “Your waiter’s name is Petr and you are sitting at table 43,” informs us the hostess before we are entering the world of absolute darkness.

The waiter from the bright world calls blind Petr, messenger from the world of everlasting darkness. Then the blue light in the pressure cabin, the last light you will see for long time, switches off.

Nové Město – Yesterday in the centre of Prague a restaurant that serves darkness opened. As started, main dish and dessert. The new gastronomic experience enjoyed by gourmets and supporters of adrenalin in Paris, Moscow or Berlin is reserved by the first Czech guests.
